But don't worry it is actually the sound of celebration—welcoming the Christkind who brings gifts for kids. It usually begins a week before Christmas Eve. This year, I decided to check out Nuremberg (or Nürnberg in German), which is known to have one of the largest and most famous Christmas markets in Germany, as well as the charming village of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
